Leonoa Alzner Jan. 29, 1923 ~ July 30, 2012
Leona V. Jensen Alzner, 89, of Marble Falls, died July 30. Born Jan. 29, 1923 in Palacios, she was the daughter of Ellis Adolph and Ethel (Harbison) Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bernard H. Jensen and Ellis Jensen Jr and sisters Lida Jensen Tanton and Gloria Jensen Doyle Gilroy.
Leona is survived by her four children: Lana Summers of Fredericksburg, Madeline Valadez of Austin, Merrietta Bigham of Austin and Fred Alzner of Fort Pierce, Fla., 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Evelyn Jensen Loggins of Temple.
Her independent, determined, strong and brave nature will be missed by her family and friends.
Services will be private.
